About Us

Live your life by a compass not a clock

 Our Mission

We strive to create a ripple effect of positivity, inspiring individuals to carry forward the spirit of giving in their own lives.

Debbie Howes.

I’m from Ontario, Canada. I’ve been retired from the workforce since 2010 and enjoy life as it ebbs and flows with the different northern seasons. As an avid road traveler for most of my adult life, from tenting to a huge 5th wheel and everything in between, I look forward to all the relevant things that Honeycomb Connections can bring to this community.

My favorite mode of solo camping is in my 2002 GMC Safari van, which I have self-built, which is a no-build, using items that I already had. I just completed a two-month Florida trek in January and February 2024, joining Lulu’s Way for January and February meetups, Out in a Limb with Kym at a smaller meetup, and a wonderful day joining Jan Privett of Butterfly Tracks and a small kaleidoscope of butterflies before heading north on my journey back to Canada.

I have enjoyed this amazing collaborative community of kindred spirits, which has empowered me to want to do more for our collective selves. I see many advantages to supporting and nurturing the growth of traveling vagabonds who want to enjoy and feel the freedom of adventure in our semi- and full-retirement years.

The opportunity to work alongside other , arrange meetups, and figure out all the great things this awesome Honeycomb can do is a dream come true for this elder gypsy. I’m inspired to help each of you step outside the box and do things that have only been dreams until now—why not come along with me? We can ‘swarm together’!

I am looking forward to serving our Community with love and kindness and spreading joy and compassion to everyone.

 Hive Ambassadors

“Nurturing Kindness, Building Community!

Hive Ambassadors are crucial in promoting kindness and compassion within their designated area. They are like bees that protect and nurture their hive while creating a culture of caring and goodwill.

The job description of a Hive Ambassador involves advocating for kindness and fostering connections within their community. They may be called upon to help with meetups, initiate projects, host gatherings, and encourage small acts of kindness among community members.

Hive Ambassadors become architects of a honeycomb and create spaces where kindness thrives, and connections are formed. They inspire others to believe in the ripple effect of small acts of goodness and lead by example in their community.

Similar to bees harmonizing in a hive, our Ambassadors spread a message of harmony and positivity.

 Promoting Kindness Sparking Joy

Our ethos revolves around the simple yet profound idea that small acts of kindness can create waves of positive change in the World. We believe in the power of spreading harmony, love, caring, joy, and laughter.

Where every item tells a story of love, where every act of kindness is a thread that helps to weave a tapestry of compassion that wraps around the globe, one heartfelt gift at a time.

Doing Good in the World:

Sharing each item is a small but impactful step towards making the world a better place. We extend our reach to those in need through charitable initiatives and partnerships, making a tangible difference.

Harmony:

We envision a world where people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives come together, creating a harmonious symphony of humanity; our acts of kindness such as sharing our items can be seen as notes in this beautiful melody, uniting individuals in the universal song of love.

Joy and Laughter:

Laughter is a universal language that transcends barriers. Our designs/items are crafted to bring smiles and laughter, infusing daily life with positivity and happiness.

Love and Caring:

Love knows no bounds, and we aim to share it abundantly. The caring gesture of sharing our items reminds individuals that they are valued and cherished. We believe in embracing each other with open hearts and fostering a culture of acceptance, understanding, and compassion.
